Don’t Miss Your Chance to Shoot the Moon

It’s not too late to submit! Hurry—our summer astrophotography contest closes in three weeks. You could win $125 worth of Cambridge astronomy books of your choice.

Whether you’re an experienced photographer or just getting started, the Moon is a picture-perfect subject. But no need to stop there—we’ll consider your favorite night-sky photos, so send us your best shots of stars, galaxies, planets, or whatever else you can find out there in our big, beautiful Universe.

Guidelines for submissions:

Contestants can submit up to 3 images. Images should be in jpeg, tiff, or gif format. Please include how you’d like your name to appear, and equipment or software used.

Deadline for submissions is August 31, 2014.

Send submissions to Rachel Ewen at rewen@cambridge.org

By submitting your photos, you grant permission for them to be posted on the Cambridge University Press blog, Facebook, and Pinterest pages.

The winner will be contacted by email after the competition closes.

Prizes:

The winner will receive $125 worth of Cambridge astronomy books. Runners up will also receive a special prize!

Happy sky-hunting! We look forward to your entries!
