Dr. Rik Peels is an Associate Professor in Philosophy and Theology at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Research Associate of the University of Johannesburg. His most recent books are Life without God (CUP 2023) and Ignorance (OUP 2023). He currently leads a large international project on the epistemology and ethics of extreme beliefs (www.extremebeliefs.com).
