Dejan Djokić is currently Professor of History at Goldsmiths, University of London. From 1 June 2023, he will take up a Professorship in History at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth. Dejan is the author of three monographs, (co-)editor of four books and recipient of prestigious grants and fellowships from the AHRC, The British Academy, The Leverhulme Trust, Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, Columbia University, New York and Woodrow Wilson Center, Washington, DC. In 2009 he founded the Centre for the Study of the Balkans at Goldsmiths and co-founded Rethinking Modern Europe, a research seminar at the Institute of Historical Research, University of London.
