For more than a decade, Jim Kozubek’s writing has appeared in publications such as The Boston Globe, The Atlantic, Wired, and Scientific American. He holds a master’s degree in genetics from the University of Connecticut. From Oct. 2013 to May 2016, he worked as a bioinformatics scientist at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, with affiliation to the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT. During that time, he interviewed more than 40 scientists and leading thinkers while writing a book on the emerging new technology for genome editing we now call Crispr-Cas9.
