Guy Ortolano teaches urban history at New York University. He is an editor of Twentieth Century British History, and author of The Two Cultures Controversy: Science, Literature, and Cultural Politics in Postwar Britain (Cambridge, 2009). His new book is Thatcher’s Progress: From Social Democracy to Market Liberalism through an English New Town (Cambridge, 2019). Guy lives in a thirty-storey concrete tower block in New York City.
