Congratulations to actor LEV HARVEY, the winner of our 2018 Search for the Best Interpreter of a Letter of Ernest Hemingway!

Last year, we sent out a call to the public to send us their most creative interpretations of one of the letters of Ernest Hemingway in our newly published edition.

The response was overwhelming, and we were amazed and delighted to see so many thoughtful and creative submissions.

One interpretation especially captured our imaginations, and we would all love to congratulate Lev Harvey for wining this year’s competition.

Here is Lev performing Ernest Hemingway’s letter to his sister, Carol.

Lev originally hails from New Jersey and has been acting since he was nine years old.

Since graduating from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, he has worked with some of the most up-and-coming theatre companies in New York including The New Natives, Classics on the Rocks, Origin Theatre Company, New Yiddish Rep and more.

He was most notably Happy Loman in New Yiddish Reps Death of a Salesman (Drama Desk Nominee). He has also appeared on MTV’s The Substitute.

Congratulations, Lev!
