Photograph Comet ISON and Win Books!

Astrophotographers and comet-watchers everywhere are invited to participate in our latest night-sky photo contest. This winter, we're waiting eagerly for Comet ISON to light up the sky—snap a picture, send it in, and you could win!

Comet ISON is in our skies! Have your camera ready.

Guidelines for submissions:

Contestants can submit up to 3 images.  Images should be in jpeg, tiff, or gif format.  Please include how you’d like your name to appear, and equipment or software used. Deadline for submissions is December 31, 2013.

Send submissions to rewen@cambridge.org. By submitting your photos, you grant permission for them to be posted on the Cambridge University Press blog, Facebook, and Pinterest pages.

The winner will be contacted by email after the competition closes.

Prize

The winner will receive $125 worth of Cambridge astronomy books.

Happy sky-hunting! We look forward to your entries!
