Chicago Tribune on New G.I. Bill

In an article about recent changes to the GI Bill, The Chicago Tribune spoke with Kathleen Frydl, author of The GI Bill: ” widows of servicemen killed in World War II… asked for tuition so they could go to college and become self-supporting… Congress steadfastly refused that.” The new bill allows for benefits to go to family members.
